Hi, my name is Brandon - the author of Brandon Buys Property. Not the most creative name and probably not the best name for search engine optimization purposes either but oh well - I am not writing this website under the expectation that it will be popular, though who knows, given how obsessed the general Australian population is with property investing maybe it will be a hit.
When I started out trying to research how to invest in property, like many, I was hit with information overload and I had no way of discerning who was objective or who was attempting to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. It pushed me into analysis paralysis and ultimately it delayed me from doing the most important thing in property investing - taking action.
After years of absorbing property investing content, I eventually found accurate and actionable information amongst the sea of misinformation being produced by the seemingly increasing number of unethical buyer’s agents and property 'gurus'.
I am writing this website because I am a nerd who probably needs a few more hobbies, but secondly, and most importantly, because I believe there needs to be a source in the property investing community that cuts through all of the bullsh*t (for the lack of a better term) available on the internet and gives people access to the fundamental information they need to take control of their property investment journey.
This website will not tell you where the next "hotspot" investment locations are or ask you to sign-up to a new course or buyers agency. The purpose of this website is to provide you with the following:
Clarity with respect to the fundamentals of property investment in Australia;
Direction on where to find accurate and actionable property investment information; and
Confidence to navigate the property investment market and take action.
You may be wondering, well why should I listen to you? The truth is that you shouldn’t be blindly listening to anyone with what is likely one of the most expensive purchases you will ever make - but you should listen to data, even if it contradicts what you previously had thought about property investing. I am going to show you a lot of data throughout this website, its up to you whether you listen to it or not. For the record, I am also not purporting to be the ultimate source of property investing knowledge I am just a young professional from Australia who has had some success from investing in real estate (not exactly a unique story) and who is bored passionate enough to share what they have learnt.
I don't have anything to sell you and I have no referral partners - this website is free and I don't mean free in like some form of clickbait sales / course gimmick, I mean this information is genuinely free. I don't even run ads on this website so you can even turn off your AdBlocker. I only recommend resources I actually use and if I think someone explains a concept better than me you will see that I just direct you straight to them. If you don't agree with what I say and you think that this website forms part of the 'bullsh*t' I mentioned above that is fine with me - I still wish you the best on your investing journey.
